Shoei Helmets

Shoei was founded by Eitaro Kamata who had an immense spirit and determination to design. Kamata used his first products exclusively for the motorcycle racing market. What is key even by modern day standards is the pace at which Shoei motorcycle helmets became so renowned all over the globe: starting in the late 1960's, Shoei's fantastic reputation as a market leading, top quality brand spread first over the United States, then later entered the market throughout motorcycle markets of Europe.

What is also so surprising is that every single person that has ever been involved in the motor field can spell the name Shoei, in spite of the fact that Shoei as a company have a team of less than 500 people the world over. But what is most amazing, especially to customers on the 'Western' hemisphere, is the dedication of Shoei's factory staff. Shoei manufactures all helmets (and all helmet parts) in Japan, even though manufacturing costs there have long since exceeded the level in many European countries.
